25 mins lunch or dinner option

So much of work since morning. no time to cook too. felt like ordering from outside but when I thought of the quality did not want to.

morning 20 mins la I made paasiparuppu Dhall (moong Dhall) sambhar with vegetables. and idli.

Bangalore is so cold you will not believe.

till 1.45 I was working. then I thought I need to cook otherwise I will end up eating some junk. craved for some rotis. so what goes with it? no time to cook elaborately. no atta too.

so ordered atta, capsicum, ready made ID chapati, curd.

now swiggy delivers within 10 mins. what a luxury. to walk inside our building itself will take 5 mins, so in 5 mins he packs and brings. I always wonder in which building he has his warehouse.

as soon as I received I chopped the capsicum into big pieces.

add a tsp of oil to the pan, add jeera. when it splutters add the capsicum. add chilli powder, turmeric and salt and the second main ingredient is the gram flour. I know South Indians do not use the gram flour so much in our dishes. but try this. my aunt lived in Calcutta for almost 40 years. it is her recipe. and one of my favourite. goes very well with roti and can make in a jiffy.

cover and cook. since capsicum is so tender it gets cooked in 10 mins.

by the time it was cooking, I removed the readymade rotis and cooked them.

the quality of the rotis has been improved I must say. it did not taste so well earlier. some 6 months ago.

done.

rotis, morning Dhall, capsicum, curd, and my moms lemon pickle.

enna dheiveegamana saapadu.

did not feel hungry till evening 6.

if I had ordered from outside, I don’t think I would have had this satiety and so organic.
