a nourishing, traditional South Indian breakfast
I was watching Dr.Pal video the other day on the fibre and the protein.
his videos are short, informative and dives straight into the point.
so an attempt to make our breakfast and lunch nourishing followed this two days ago.
our nutrition packed idli with ghee, coconut chutney, ground nut chutney powder and onion chutney. seriously so filling it was.
for lunch made my grandmother’s recipe potato and brinjal, capsicum and cauliflower, suraikai kootu with paasi paruppu, curd and maavadu and our ghee dipping 1 roti.
so nourishing and was so happy with my efforts.
then the next day back to square one. 🙂 though I stuck to my healthy nourishing dosai and idli, the accompaniments becomes a bit tiresome to make.
groundnut chutney powder I am sticking to, because it is already made and in the fridge, so just 3 tsp of it everyday. I have seen my energy levels better after eating groundnuts. so not going to leave it.
