eco friendly wedding
recently attended a wedding and since it was in a very big hall, I thought they would have done huge decorations, plastics etc.
at the entrance of the convention Hall itself the tone was set. Mats were adorning the entrance. They were prepared from fresh coconut tree leaves that were woven and flowers inserted inside each.
thalambhu flowers and lotus flowers adorned the stage. Not too much. Just to the extent it was needed.
food was also served on a banana leaf and they asked before serving.
Nice filter coffee counter and beeda counter too.
when we came out they gave a thamboola bag. Which is given at all Tamil weddings. It consists of a coconut, and betel nuts. And what caught my attention was the cutest turmeric and kumkum packaging with a kolam. All in a jute bag.
