how to sell your product or service?
Actually you cannot start selling your products from day 1. I am talking about atleast non IT products.
From my experience from attending numerous marketing, branding courses in UK, and from my own personal experience i know that selling is not easy.
There is a difference between marketing and selling. You need to market first. For that you need a compelling branding.
many think branding is having a nice logo, have a nice name, labelling, website and all that.
Ofcourse it’s good to have all that. But more important is the person representing the brand.
if you know someone who is very selfish, not generous, very very business oriented always, will you buy products from him/ her?
what quality you expect from others, you also need to be that to brand yourself.
one of the sharks from US shark tank, barbara corcoran always looks at the people, their qualities and not their sales. I am talking about people who come and pitch their business.
i guess even I am like that. For me people are very important. And their qualities.
It reflects in their business and their ethics and the way they do the business
Today we still adore Raran Tata for his principles and ethics. He always put ethics in front.
quality, attitude, ethics ,your values everything comes before sales.
If all these are in place sales will automatically happen.
