Idiappam sambhal healthy, nutritious, traditional

Many of my friends from college were from Srilanka and they used to bring these traditional srilankan food often.

I guess most of the foods are acquired taste and regarding idiyappam i used to run at the very sight.

But now suddenly there is a craving for idiyappam. Can’t believe it.

I earlier wrote how I ordered from a popular restaurant and they sent me frozen idiyappam. Not heated too.

So thought will make it on my own. And I remembered sambhal.

Most easiest, tastiest, healthy and traditional.

Our ancestors had wisdom.

Recipe.

1/2 coconut grated

1/2 lemon juice

1 onion,

Salt,

Cane sugar

2 greenchillies.

Pulse all together.

Don’t make it a paste.

Eat it with idiyappam. Heaven.
