poondu pulikolambhu and potato podimaas

this was last weeks menu before going to the farm.

previous day night I made garlic pulikulmbhu and potato podimaas.

such a healthy and balanced food. with that sour puilikulambhu that potato podimaas is a delight.

that too if you also have Dhall rice, pulikulambhu and potato podimaas then that is a blessing.

simple a, healthy a cook pannitu poradhuku bathila doing someting elaborate then getting stressed about it does not make any sense to me.

this morning, when I went to the kitchen found that I had forgotten to put the idli maavu inside the fridge. there was less only, still..

so was wondering what to do. recently I had developed a habit of buying maavu from outside and was feeling so damn guilty about it. one thing, it was becoming expensive and second the plastic covers. whatever you say dry waste and wet waste, still that nagging feeling does not go. so last week I made up my mind not to buy from outside unless its an emergency.

so this batter I had ground with little of red kambu. so did not have the heart to waste. usually we use all the water for the plants.

so mixed rava, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves, jeeragam and pepper and made rava dosai.

ok, for chutney what to do. husband had just bought veggies from the society so I saw peerkangai popping out of the bag

in villages they make thuvaiyal out of the skin they could afford to because there was no chemical spray on it. I can’t do that till we grow that.

so removed the peels, chopped the vegetable and added to the pan, little kadalai paruppu, little ulathan paruppu, red chillies, currey leaves, little puli. should saute the peerkangai well.

enna taste with that dosai.

what more nourishing you can have for breakfast?

Blessed.
