Ragi sevai masala
as I mentioned my constant search for healthy, tasty, nutritious, unadulterated food goes on.
and found this.
Ragi sevai 250 gms
water 500 ml.
dip the sevai into water for a minute.and remove it and pour water into sevai. Simmer and cook for 5 to 7 mins.
you can also steam or you can also cook like upma.
I made masala today and used the other half for sweet.
oil, jeera, unadulterated dhal, 2 onions, 3 tomatoes, green chillies, curru leaves, coriander, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala. Saute till paste. Add half of cooked ragi. Mix well and let it rest for 10 mins till it absorbs. Add fried or roasted peanuts while serving.
The rest of the ragi can be used for sweet. I added cardamom powder, shredded coconut, and country sugar.
