regular idli to powerhouse nutritious idli

As time goes by and with the unavailability of genuine wholesome foods, the onus is on us to create few. (Always have been)

for a long time been eating the regular idli, and few genuine nutritionists say eat what you have been eating as a kid.

and am sure my dna would have had all millets.

so we started making kanji out of all traditional rices and lentils and legumes. No cashews or nuts.

The kanji with thengai thuvaiyal is an awesome combo.

though work was So easy wirh kanji and thuvaiyal, , sometimes boredom sets in. So I mixed 3 to 4 tbsps of sathumavu mix in the batter and made idli. Tada…. Tasty healthy idli. Teamed with groundnut chutney I guess it makes wholesome. No guilt food.
