Simple hair dye
all these years there was no need for this.
of course customers used to ask us. My cousins too. Since we were into skill training, I asked my consultant (she was a Govt resource person) to give me a hair dye.
She said she made natural ones and also gave it. I could not test it because no grey hairs for me then. So gave it to my mom and cousin. And they loved it. Others also started buying it. Customers even from abroad bought it. But suddenly she fell sick and stopped giving us.
such an embrassment to answer customers.
so I asked her for the recipe. Ofcourse to be paid. But she refused.
then I realised that without knowing the formula you should never sell a product.
After that I realised the need and did so much research. I don’t think there is a single product without chemicals. Evening the ones that we buy from naatumarundhu shop has chemicals in it. The shop seller himself is not aware.
we prepared my grandmothers recipe of a herbal hair pack that makes the hair dark too. And it stayed for 3 days or so. But if you give a gap then the white hairs showed.
so last week when I went for a wedding I was so bugged and did not colour the greyhairs near the forehead. My friend got angry and said that she will just touch up the hair with the touch up stick. So I allowed. but the chemical on me, I was sort of feeling uncomfortable.
so two weeks ago made a simple sesame oil lamp in clay, kept 2 glasses and a plate on top and took the soot in a glass bottle.
took a tooth brush and brushed it lightly on the forehead white hairs. Surprising was dark and did not go for 3 days.
you can try instead of this again chemical touch up.
