Thiruvanaikaval – Annai Akhilandeswari

A historical temple with Lord Shiva in the water form. been there when I was very young.

but now after hearing a lot about the power of the Akilandeshwari and the temples structure wish to go there. more informed.

my biggest regret is that people those days did not document or they did and it not reach us properly. I don’t know.

I read that the power of AMMAN is so much that the priest who opened the doors of the temple fainted everyday morning. They had gone to the Mahaperiyava and told him about this.

Mahaperiyavar then visited the temple and asked them to keep a Vinayagar deity in front of her, so when the door is opened she looks at her son.

the priest went sideways and opened. after that no priests fainted.

Also there is a belief that if your kid is sick they pray to the Amman saying that you will give the child to her for adoption. My cousin did this. then they have to take the kid leave hi/her at the temple and come. five minutes later or so you can take the kid.

It’s just surrendering yourself to the God.

The Amman has two Thadaagam on her ears. They say you need to look at it.

This time when I visit planning to learn more about this temple.
